      Wireless Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) works in the same way that VoIP does not - with a digital voice signal stored in the IP packet travels through a high-speed internet network connection. Wireless VoIP combines VoIP with wireless Internet network.

      The influence of WiMAX in the use of wireless VoIP is that they do not need to put a new line or improve existing infrastructure for high bandwidth Internet access to everyone. The idea is that eventually you will be able to connect directly to a WiMAX network and off your wireless, VoIP phone, or PDA.

      Our school system can benefit from wireless VoIP. Communication within the system, from primary education to educational institutions is important. It is important that teachers and staff to communicate with each other and to their parents. Important as this, communication devices often fail due to budget constraints and limited resources. This is where wireless VoIP can greatly affect the communications network of the education system. Lower cost than PBX systems, wireless VoIP can be added throughout the school so that teachers and staff to access the sound when they need it. Many schools have computer rooms and high speed internet connection and all will be required where wireless access points throughout the school so that teachers and staff can also contact time required to communicate with parents.
